The issue....
WHY GHAI INITIATIVES?
The harsh economic realities in Nigeria have caused many children to be excluded from education, turning it from a basic right to an optional privilege reserved for the fortunate few. Parents, driven by their struggle to provide for their families, often prioritize immediate needs over their children's education. This short-term strategy, while understandable given difficult circumstances, unfortunately, perpetuates a cycle of poverty and limited education.
The solution....
It is disheartening to see so many children arrive at school without having a proper breakfast. On an empty stomach, these young minds then face the challenge of staying focused on their lessons throughout the day.

Education holds immense significance in molding our social identity, shaping our perceptions of self and others. At gHAI, we are unwavering in our belief that education is the cornerstone for sustainable, ethical, and autonomous growth of nations. By nurturing the minds of the younger generation through school feeding programs, we ignite a force for change that will obliterate poverty and child labor, forever transforming countless lives across the globe.

WHERE WE WORK
In South-West Nigeria's heartland, gHAI Initiatives is dedicated to uplifting the vulnerable and under- served. We collaborate closely with community leaders, hospitals, and public schools in Lagos and Ogun states, both densely populated and impoverished areas of Nigeria.

Our reach extends to Kaduna State and Kebbi State in the north, where we assist impoverished families, victims of communal violence, and internally displaced families, with a special emphasis on children's nutrition and education. We firmly believe that every child deserves a fair start and the chance to thrive.
